Cyprien Katsaris, a world class classical concert pianist from Paris,
France requested a redesign of his logo for his recording label, Piano
21, to update his identity for a comprehensive collection of recordings
scheduled for re-release, and for the new releases of his recent recordings.
The solution is a classic typeface engraved on a black piano key to define
the instrument of his expertise, and a 21 created by the dynamic interplay
of red and white space indicating the limitless boundaries of his musical
compositions.
A promotional CD and Jacket, advertising and posters were designed to
re-introduce the artist and his newly redesigned Piano 21 recording label
and CDs. When Cyprien was featured in Fanfare Magazine, we were asked
to design the magazine cover. |
